Published in Polish quarterly "Alkoholizm i Narkomania" is interdisciplinary journal interested in research-based
papers dealing with alcohol- and drug-related problems. The journal publishes original and review articles, book
reviews, reports of scientific conferences, letters etc.
All original and review manuscripts are reviewed by two independent referees.
Papers are received with the explicit understanding that they are not under simultaneous consideration by any
other publication
Submission of an article for publication implies the transfer of the copyright from the author to the publisher
upon acceptance. Accepted papers become a permanent property of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Submitted original papers should be divided into following sections: abstract, introduction, material and methods,
results, discussion, conclusions, acknowledgments (if necessary), references and if necessary - appendix
as well as glossary of non-standard abbreviations.
Abstract of maximum 250 words must be structured with following paragraphs:
introduction, methods, results, and conclusions.
Abstract should be followed by a list of 3-6 key words.
References should be numbered in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text.
All authors should be
listed.
In the text references are identified by Arabic numerals
(in round brackets).
The list of references should
include only those publications which arc cited.
